And what a first year it was! The soft launch of ccwallet actually happended on the 04th July 2021, so we are a bit late.
But today we released v1.8.1 of Eternl with support for the upcoming Babbage/Vasil hard fork, as well as our new TxBuilder feature.
TxBuilder allows you to add multiple outputs to a transaction and choose which utxos you want to spend. It also has support for custom json metadata. This is the first iteration of TxBuilder and we have many ideas on how to improve it further.

¶ Release v1.7.0 - DApp Browser!

What is the DApp Browser?
Until today, only wallet browser extensions were able to connect to DApps on Cardano. Starting today, Eternl users can connect their wallets to DApps listed in Eternl's DApp Browser.
We'll start with four pioneers who helped us iron out implementation details. A huge thank you goes out to Artifct, JPGstore, Sundaeswap and Minswap. We also invite other DApps to join as well. Ping us on Discord.
This will be the first comfort feature of Eternl. Transactions using the Dapp Browser for purchase values of 100 ADA or more will have a convenience fee of 0.1% fee or 1 ADA, whichever is greater, added to the transaction to help fund Eternl development.
This release is the first iteration and marked as beta. Please report any issues on Discord.

The future of CCVaultio: A lot of change are coming.
Today, we’re excited to announce a new name, a new partnership, and an upcoming simplified design.
As some of you may remember, last year we started this project as ccwallet, then renamed to ccvault.io with the addition of mobile to our suite of apps.
Since then, as we’ve been building & scaling with the rate of new apps launching on Cardano, we’ve been thinking a LOT about our brand and what a next generation wallet UI could look like to accommodate both power users & newcomers to blockchain.
CCVaultio becomes Eternl.
Blockchain is forever, and as it changes the world around us, we felt we needed a brand that speaks to what we’re about, where we’re headed, and has broader reach as the Cardano community grows.
We’ve partnered with our friends at Artifct to take our vision to the next level. From the rebrand, to designing a best-in-class wallet experience across web & mobile, we want Cardano to lead the way & the best way to do that as a community is together.
Over the next few updates, our apps will have the new name & logo, and work on the new UI (more on that soon) will begin as soon as we release our latest feature: “Staking Vault.” Exciting times ahead.
¶ Release of Eternl v1.5.1 - dark mode!

Dark Mode is here! And the pending transactions UI! And so much more.
This release also includes a lot of invisible changes, eg. a new transaction build system, that will allow future versions of Eternl to send transactions in parallel and chain transactions together. But that's for a later release.

¶ Release of Eternl v1.4.0 - dApp refinement!

Eternl is now home for almost 30.000 accounts.
This brings its own challenges. The launch of SundaeSwap brought a lot of users and a lot of questions regarding our dApp-connector.
Now you need to explicitly select the account that you want to connect to dApps with. The enable popup only shows the origin and a connect and cancel button. So dApp connections should now be clearer.
We also added a new wallet settings: collateral.
This feature will detect whether you have a small Ada only UTxO, if not, it creates one for you and keeps track of it, so it doesn't get spent. If you use your wallet in different apps, eg. in the browser extension and on a mobile device, make sure to enable the collateral setting in all apps.
There are now indicators for which app you are currently using in the footer.
Fixes as usual, mostly dApp-connector related.
Let's see who can spot the new hidden feature first.

¶ Release of Eternl v1.3.0 - multi-accounts

This feature has been on our list for a long time: add multiple accounts to the same wallet.
After creating/restoring/pairing, your wallet will start with a single account. To add more accounts to your wallet, click on "Account #0" or the wallet pattern icon. You can add up to 24 accounts.
Each account will act independently, but your wallet balance will add up all account balances.
With all those new accounts an upgraded address book would be nice. That's what we added: the global address book.
You can transfer your wallet address book entries to the global address book or add new entries directly. Check it out on the Settings page via the main menu.

¶ Release of Eternl v1.2.0 - and 'The Mesmerizer'

In this version we rewrote a lot of code regarding routing and internal data handling in preparation of the soon to be released browser extension of Yes, you read that correctly.
ccwallet.io is now rebranding is necessary because a BTC wallet with the name ccwallet exists on the Apple App Store.
Also announcing: The Mesmerizer - collection: 2021.
We want to grow the team and innovate faster. But a simple donation button would have been kind of lame. So we decided to create a 10k NFT token series with rarities and a completely onchain animation, that will totally mesmerize you, if you stare at it too long, hence the name.

¶ Release of ccwallet v1.1.0 - Alonzo hard fork

We are excited about Cardano's Alonzo hardfork, which is scheduled for tomorrow, 12th Sept. 2021, 21:44:51 UTC. It will bring smart contract capabilities to the Cardano blockchain
ccwallet.io is ready for this event. Not only did we update our backend software, we also added more dedicated server capacity to be able to handle the rising traffic.

¶ Release of ccwallet v1.0.8 - tons of improvements

Since our soft launch in June we got a ton of feedback from the Cardano community, most of which around token loading and handling.
Thanks to community members and their huge token collections and transactions, we were able to rewrite the wallet sync code and optimize it to handle even the largest wallets out there.
